Helpdesk

Hi guys,

A previous issue depleted the strompi3 1000mah battery.

I've successfully reinstalled firmware and changed some settings.

The primary power (wide) did not light up any board led nor the PI.

The mUSB on the other hand, is blinking the red led very dimmly (in sync with the PI red led so also dimmly blinking) but has the board  green Bat led on.

Is the battery gone?

Not gone but I think that when depleted two things happens:

1) the above situation, mUSB while the Strompi3 is attached to RPI, does not charge the battery even though the LED green light is on (tried that for a while like a full day charging)

2) Wide->battery power supply does not charge nor shows LED. Note: not sure if I tried with(out) RPI

So I removed the RPI and charged through mUSB. Green LED was on. After Sometime, the LED went down.

Placed the RPI again and everything went ok.

Hi Lennydelesi,

just a quick clarification on the LED indicators of the StromPi:

  • Green LED on the StromPi board indicates power is drawn from the Battery.

  • Blue LED indicates power is drawn from the Wide‑Input.

  • Red LED shows the micro‑USB input is providing power.

  • On the battery pack itself, the orange LED lights up while the battery is charging.

Hope this clears things up! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards
