Helpdesk

Greetings,

Having read through the manuals, I m still not able to decipher what the LEDs and their different colour and behaviour mean. Could someone enlighten me?

Am putting together a 4b pi with a 7inch official touchscreen, using mUSB and battery-pack, but somehow nothing happens when connecting to power, except for a blue LED turning red, and the orange LED on the battery pack lights up orange.

Hello mirrormurr,

thank you for your question.

If the Wide Range input is used, the LED that belongs to that input lights up blue. If the mUSB is used its LED is emitting a red light and if the battery hat is used as a power source the LED that belongs to that input lights up green.

The color schemes can also be seen in this picture: https://github.com/joy-it/strompi3/blob/master/Schematic%20Files%2BHardware%20Layout/Hardware-Layout.pdf

If the Wide Range input LED is emitting a very faint, static blue light than that means that the device is in flash mode.

The orange LED on the battery hat indicates that the battery is not fully charged. Once it is charged to a hundred percent the light turns off.

Have you tried using our official StromPi image? It can be found in the download section on this page.
If you can not get a video signal with our image we recommend reflashing the firmware onto the StromPi. The necessary files as well as a manual can also be found in the download section.

Yours sincerely,
