Helpdesk

Hi,

I am running a Raspberry Pi 2, a Strom Pi 3 and the XXL battery in the StromPi case from Joy-It.

I understood I have to shutdown the Raspberry Pi + StromPi via

[nbsp] shutdown.py

and not via

[nbsp] shutdown -h 0

so that the StromPi is informed about the Raspberry Pi's shutdown.

I activated the hardware watchdog, but still: What do I do if Raspbian gets stuck, doesn't reboot automatically or if I run 'shutdown -h 0' accidentally?

Last time, I had to unscrew 11 screws to get the Raspberry Pi with the two hats out of the case, disconnect the battery and connect it again to be able to start the Raspberry Pi again.

Is there another way?

Best regards,

Max

Hi Max,

What do I do if Raspbian gets stuck, doesn't reboot automatically or if I run 'shutdown -h 0' accidentally?

If you run 'shutdown -h 0' accidentally, you can reboot the Raspberry Pi by shorting pin 5 (GPIO 3) and pin 6 (GND). If the OS gets stuck, you can reset the Raspberry Pi 2 by shorting the contacts marked with 'Run' on the PCB.

Best regards
